The first incident took place just after 10pm on Monday. Police say that a 79-year-old victim was putting groceries in her car in a parking lot located at the Parkway Mall located at 7201 Tecumseh Road East.  A male approached the victim and asked if he could take her cart.  The male suddenly grabbed the victim’s purse from the cart and fled east bound.  He was last seen throwing the purse over a fence and then hopping over the fence in the Charlie Brooks area.

The suspect is described as being a white male, 18 to 19 years of age, with a pale face and a slim build.  He was approximately 5’6″ tall and was wearing a green coat.

The second took place around 10pm Wednesday night.  Police say that a 57-year-old victim was putting groceries in her car in a parking lot located at 3663 Tecumseh Road East, when the victim heard footsteps approaching her.  She turned to find a male reaching into her shopping cart in an attempt to steal her purse.  The victim grabbed the purse at the same time.  The victim held the purse and the straps broke and the male fled the area empty-handed.  She saw the male run across to the north-east corner of the parking lot where he was joined by a second male on a bicycle.  Both males left the area.

The suspect that approached her is described as being a white male, 5’2″ to 5’4″, approximately 100lbs, with a slender build, with collar length dark hair.  He was clean-shaven and was wearing a beige hoody and faded blue jeans.  The second suspect on the bicycle is described as being a white male, 5’5″ and approximately 130 lbs, with a slender build, wearing a black and white checkered hoody and dark pants.

The third incident took place 45 minutes later on Wednesday.  A 57-year-old victim was walking in the parking lot located at 7100 block of Tecumseh Road East.  As the victim was approaching the entrance to the store a male on a bicycle attempted to steal her purse.  The victim was knocked to the ground and sustained injuries to her left knee and right hand.  She was transported to hospital by ambulance for an assessment.  The Suspect took off on his bicycle empty-handed.

The suspect is described as being a white male approximately 15 to16 years of age with a slender build.  He had dark hair and was wearing a winter toque and a plaid jacket. He fled the area on his bicycle.
