Enactus Windsor, is a student-run organization at the Odette School of Business, and they are launching an new event called the Windsor-Essex Pitch Series, where business startups and aspiring entrepreneurs pitch their innovative ideas to an audience of local entrepreneurs and community leaders in order to receive valuable feedback for their venture.

W.E. Pitch Series will offer presenters a platform to promote and explore their respective ideas as well as draw inspiration from the exposure begotten from the event. This will offer the participant an opportunity to get themselves in front of the right people who may be able to make their business become a success.

Patrick Lor will be a special guest in attendance from Calgary. He is a tech startup founder, mentor and investor. He is Co-founder of istockphoto, the North American President at Fotolla.com and a Product Development Manager at Adobe. As an advisor, angel investor, speaker, and community leader in the technology startup ecosystem, his presence will be beneficial for any entrepreneur seeking advice.

Event organizer Shubh Singh says, “This event is a great way for local entrepreneurs to get their ideas out there, as well as receive valuable advice and make connections with other established business leaders in the community. We invite everyone from the community to come out and support these entrepreneurs.”

The event takes place at the Walkerville Brewery, located at 525 Argyle Road, on Wednesday March 6th from 6pm to 8pm.
