The OPP in both Tecumseh and Lakeshore, are investigating three instances over the weekend where property crimes took place.

Police say that the first took place in the early morning hours of March 17th after 1am, when unknown suspect(s) entered a residence in the 12300 block of Riverside Drive in Tecumseh. The residence was ransacked and the suspect(s) then left the residence and walked eastbound to a residence in the 12400 block of Riverside Drive where they stole a brown 2004 Pontiac Montana van and left the area.

Police say that the suspect(s) appear to have then made their way to the 500 block of Pearl Street in Lakeshore where they entered two residences and stole electronics, alcohol and jewelry.

Investigators attended and collected forensic evidence to assist with the investigation.

Police ask that anyone with information regarding the person or persons responsible for these crimes is asked to contact the Essex County Street Crimes unit at 519-723-2491.
