Two people have been charged and police are searching for a third person after a drug bust in Tilbury.

Tuesday evening, the Chatham-Kent Police Intelligence Unit executed a Controlled Drugs and Substance Act warrant at a residence on Mill Street East in Tilbury. Police found over $13,000 worth of drugs and cash.

A 24-year-old Tilbury man and 23-year Tilbury woman were arrested and charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count of possession of property obtained by a crime under $5000. The man was further charged with one count of unauthorized possession of a weapon. They were both released pending a future court date of April 25th, 2013.

Police continue to search for a third Tilbury man. The 22-year-old will also be charged with similar drug and weapon related offences when found.
