Coventry and Raymond in East Windsor as seen on Google Streetview

Windsor Police continue to investigate after a 56-year-old man was struck by a car and later died in Hospital.

The accident happened around 6:40, Tuesday evening at Coventry and Raymond in East Windsor.  Windsor Fire was first on the scene and had to remove the white Dodge Journey off  the pedestrian.  Firefighters preformed CPR until ambulance crews arrived, and the pedestrian was rushed to hospital.

Police say that their preliminary investigation reveals that the white Dodge Journey was northbound in the 1000 block of Coventry Court when it struck the pedestrian.

The 32-year-old female driver of the Dodge was not injured.

The Windsor Police Accident Reconstruction Unit attended the scene and are continuing to investigate the incident. At this time no charges have been laid.
