In past years Olde Sandwich Town has turned their lamp posts green for St. Patrick’s Day
The Sandwich Improvement Area is planning a St. Patrick’s Day Celebration on March 17th and are requesting a temporary road closure of Sandwich Street between Detroit Street and Brock Street for the day.
Patrons will have the opportunity to purchase beverages and food from the various establishments located within the enclosed area and consume these within the steed closed area.
The event will run from 11am to 11pm, with the road closed form 9am to 1am. Organizers plan no staging or entertainment within the street closure.
This goes to Windsor City Council for final approval on Tuesday February 19th.
