    The 1000 block of Albert as seen in Google Maps

    Windsor Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred just before midnight in the 1000 block of Albert Road.

    Police say that a 33 year old male suffered a laceration to the neck, which was non life threatening. They say it was believed a beer bottle was used to assault the male.

    The male was was assaulted by a female who apparently was his ex-girlfriend and who police say then fled the area.

    Upon investigation police learned the suspect may be still in the area and about ten minutes later located the suspect hiding behind a home on Drouillard Road.

    The 26 year old female was arrested with out incident and is facing charges of assault with a weapon and breaching her alcohol conditions on a probation order.
