Just before 3am, police officers on routine patrol in the area of Leopards Lounge at Wyandotte and Wellington entered the parking lot and noticed a number of patrons going to their cars to leave.

Police say that their attention were directed to a blue 2000 Jeep Cherokee which was revving its engine loudly with the tires spinning. The parking lot was still snow covered and icy, and all of a sudden the Jeep started to spray snow and ice onto people and cars in the Lot.

The officers went to stop the Jeep which was now on its way out of the lot driving erratically spinning out on Elm Street. Police say the jeep continued onto Wyandotte running a stop sign. With its engine still revving and and tires spinning the jeep was doing “doughnuts” on Wyandotte Street. Traffic travelling on Wyandotte at that time had to come to a halt in order to avoid being struck by the out of control Jeep.

Officers were able to stop the jeep and spoke with the male who only had a health card for ID. The 26 year old West Windsor resident was arrested
for dangerous driving and also driving while under suspension. His vehicle was impounded.
