A Windsor man is facing multiple charges after he was pulled over Friday evening.

Police say that they pulled over what they thought was an E-bike, that was traveling at least 50 km/hr east bound on Wyandotte near Elm Street. E-bikes are limited to 32 km/hr.

Further examination by police of the bike showed that the owner placed a green E-bike plate on the rear of it to make it seem like it was an E-bike when in actuality it was a gas operated Honda Scooter.

Police have charged a 38-year-old Windsor man with driving under suspension, driving a motor vehicle with no plates, failing to wear a proper helmet, and operating a motor vehicle with no insurance.
