Windsor Police are investigating a Hit and Run accident that happened back in December.

Police say the incident took place shortly after 8am on Friday December 14th on Dougall Avenue in the Southbound lanes before the 6th Concession. Video obtained shows the suspect vehicle following the incident. The vehicle was last seen entering Highway 401 Eastbound. The truck was travelling in the passing lane and made a lane change into the curb lane but struck the rear quarter of a silver Pontiac Sunfire.

The impact caused the Sunfire to spin in front of the truck and sent it into the median. The driver of the truck made no attempt to stop.

Anyone with information regarding the accident are asked to call Windsor Police at (519)255-6700 ex 4211 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at (519)-258-TIPS (8477)

The truck is described as having a white cab and rust coloured trailer.
