Windsor Police need the public’s help to identify two men seen tasering a store clerk in surveillance video.

On Thursday around 10:15pm, Windsor Police were dispatched to the area of Erie Street West and Church Street in relation to a robbery that had just occurred. A citizen who witnessed the robbery called police. Investigation has revealed that the 54 year old victim was closing a convenience store in the 400 block of Erie Street West. Two male suspects approached the victim and asked him about purchasing some cigarettes from inside the store. The victim explained that the store was closed for the evening. The suspects attacked the victim. One of the suspects used a taser on the victim and punched him several times. The victim fell to the ground and the suspects removed a small amount of cash from his pocket. The victim was transported to hospital and treated for non life threatening injuries including cuts and abrasions to his face. The victim has agreed to the release of security footage of the attack in an attempt to identify the suspects.

Suspect 1: Male, white, 5’11’, 20-25yrs, clean shaven, slender build, possibly wearing glasses, baseball hat with an unknown logo, light blue hoodie with hood on, light pants, possibly jeans, black gloves, black shoes with white laces, in possession of taser.

Suspect 2: Male, black with light complexion, 20 years, 5’9″, slender build, wearing a grey or light hoodie with the hood up, dark jogging pants tucked into white socks, wearing white running shoes.
