Windsor Police have made two arrests in connection to a home invasion in the 500 block of Pierre Avenue back on November 26th.

On January 8th, a male party attended police headquarters and advised police that he was wanted on a warrant for the robbery. Officers confirmed his identify and were able to confirm that warrants for his arrest existed. The 18-year-old Windsor man was arrested without incident for several offences including robbery, break and enter, and possession of a weapon.

Then on Monday around 3:30pm Windsor Police were in the area of Erie Street East and Elsmere Avenue when they came upon the second person who was wanted in connection to the home invasion robbery.

The young person fled from officers once a police vehicle approached him, and a brief foot-chase ensued. The suspect was located in a rear yard in the 900 block of Howard Avenue, and he was subsequently arrested without incident.

Several arrest warrants were executed on the 17-year-old Windsor youth including three counts of robbery, break and enter, and possession of a weapon.
