Windsor firefighters have extinguished a small fire that charred a door and damaged the rear of a building on Wyandotte Street.
Crews were called to the 1300 block of Wyandotte Street East just after 6pm for reports that a door was on fire. Firefighters found smoke coming from the exterior and extinguished the fire.
The fire did not penetrate inside the building.
Windsor Fire says that “combustibles on [the] exterior [were] deliberately set”. There were no injuries and the fire appears to have caused around $5000 in damage.
