Windsor Police were dispatched to an apartment building in the 1300 block of Ouellette Avenue on Saturday December 15, 2012 at approximately 1:45am regarding a report of a robbery. Upon arrival officers spoke with a 20 year old complainant. She advised that she was returning home to her apartment with her girlfriend. She entered main lobby of the building while her friend remained outside on her phone. The complainant indicated that a male was also in the lobby. She spoke with him briefly. He did not have an access key to enter the building. She began to search for her key in her purse. While she did this she dropped her cell phone. She bent down to pick up her phone and as she stood up, the male in the lobby grabbed her purse and fled South on Ouellette. The victim and her friend called police. The victim was not injured during the incident.

The male is described as being white with an olive complexion. Short brown hair, medium build, approximately 6′, 28-30 years of age. He was wearing an earring (described as a medium sized stretcher), dark blue jeans, a black puffy snow-board style jacket, High top styled running shoes with black laces. Possibly had red socks.
