Windsorite Finds a Loaded Handgun Stashed in an Alley

Windsor Police are investigating after a Windsorite found a loaded handgun in an alley Saturday evening.

Police say that a citizen located a tool box under a piece of wood in the 1500 block of the  north-south alley between Lincoln Road and Gladstone Avenue.  The citizen opened the tool box and found that it contained a .45 calibre semi-automatic handgun.

Police attended at took possession of the handgun.  They say it was loaded with a magazine containing 7 rounds of ammunition.
