Windsor Police have made an arrest in a joint forces investigation with the OPP and a 21-year-old Windsor woman is in custody.

The investigation led officers to an apartment unit in the 3600 block of Sandwich Street. Officers attended the apartment unit with a Criminal Code Search Warrant on Friday November 30th.

A search of the apartment resulted in the following firearms being seized:

▪ Hi-Point Model CF380 ACP semi automatic handgun
▪ 500 Smith and Wesson .50 Caliber revolver
▪ SK3 sniper rifle
▪ Smith and Wesson .22 caliber Walther handgun

Additional items seized include dozens of rounds of various ammunition, a scope, and a high powered magazine.

Destanee Renee Patricia Patterson, 21 years of age from Windsor is charged with 4 counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm.

Windsor Police say numerous additional firearms related charges are pending as the investigation continues.
