    At approximately 2am Thursday night a Windsor Police K-9 Unit was on patrol in the 5400 block of Empress Street, conducting a perimeter check of a school in the police vehicle.

    On the east side of the building the officer found a male spray painting a brick wall. Police say that the officer activated his lights and approached the male, and initially he began to walk away quickly, discarding the spray paint can.

    The male then stopped, and he was placed under arrest. The male was also found with two large markers on him.

    The nature of the “tag” was the word “Text” with some other numbers and letters.

    A 23-year-old Windsor man was arrested for Mischief Under $5000.00 He has a pending court date in January 2013.
