On the 16th of December at 11:09am the Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police stopped a 2011 Mazda on 40 Highway for a Highway Traffic Act violation.

The driver of the vehicle was arrested after approximately seven pounds of marijuana; with an estimated street value of $7000 was located inside.

Kyle Flewelling, a 25 year old Leamington man is facing the following charges under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act; Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act; and the Highway Traffic Act.

Possession for the Purpose Schedule II over 3 kg.
Possession Schedule II Cannabis Marihuana – under 30grams.
Fail to Have Insurance Card.
Colour Coating Obscuring Interior.
Entire Plate Not Plainly Visible.
