Windsor and Essex County may just be in for a white Christmas after all, despite the warm temperatures as of late.
A Special weather statement issued by Environment Canada today says that a low pressure system will develop over Colorado and track toward Southern Ontario Wednesday and Thursday.
Their current indications are that the precipitation will begin over most of Southern Ontario during the day Thursday. The precipitation may start briefly as snow, but will then change over to rain. They say that the rain should change back to snow Friday or Friday night before ending Saturday.
The exact track of the low over Southern Ontario will determine the type and amount of precipitation, and that at this early stage there is still much uncertainty about the track of the low.
