Staff at Hôtel-Dieu Grace Hospital shared their holiday giving spirit with three significant acts of generosity to the Downtown Mission, the Salvation Army and Sparky’s Toy Drive this week.

Through proceeds of staff Christmas Luncheon, hospital employees made contributions to support the Downtown Mission and the Salvation Army.  Both organizations received donations of $1725.

As well, on Thursday representatives from Sparky’s Toy Drive stopped by to pick up the large containers of toys donated by staff for this year’s drive. More than 100 toys were collected.

“We are pleased to know that our abundance and blessings are being shared by the less fortunate through these community organizations,” said Ken Deane, President and CEO of Hôtel-Dieu Grace Hospital.
