A 78-year-old woman who was struck by a truck in Harrow last week has succumbed to her injuries.

The accident occurred on December 13th when a 2010 Dodge pickup truck was travelling westbound on King Street attempted to turn southbound onto McAfee Street and struck two elderly females who were crossing McAfee Street.

As a result of evidence collected by investigators, a Florida man has been charged in relation to this crash. Ronald Oliver Walker age 70 from Alva, Florida was issued a summons and is required to appear in court for the offence of “Fail to Yield to pedestrian at a crosswalk”.

The condition of the second woman is not known.
