Vendors Needed For New Windsor ‘Expo Centre’, Open House For Vendors Saturday

The WindZor Trade Market is a brand new idea to adaptively reuse a former GM factory in Walkerville and turn it into an ongoing shopping expo-centre-style destination.

Construction “began couple of months ago for our stage one, 40000 sq feet part of the old GM building to bring it up to date and suitable for our project,” says Furat Al Rammahy, Operations Manager for the WindZor Trade Market.

The Trade Market held an open house earlier this month and Al Rammahy says vendor spots — of which there are 250 — are almost 50% sold.

The Market plans to open for February 1st 2013 but still needs to attract more vendors.

An Open House is planned for this Saturday December 1st from 10am – 4pm and is design to be a meet and greet followed by a look at model booths.

The WindZor Trade Market is located off of St Luke Street, near Walker Road, and features a parking lot with a 500+ car capacity.
