The University of Windsor announced today the re-appointment of the Honourable Ed Lumley, P.C., LL.D. to a third term as Chancellor of the University of Windsor.
Mr. Lumley who was first appointed Chancellor in 2006 was born and raised in Windsor and graduated in 1961 with a Bachelor of Commerce from Assumption University, forerunner to the University of Windsor.
During his second term as Chancellor, Lumley has been honoured for his contributions to both the public and private sectors with the recent naming of the new home of the faculty of engineering, the Ed Lumley Centre for Engineering Innovation. This world-class hub for innovation spans 300,000 square feet, and features the latest in classroom teaching technology, an Industrial Courtyard for collaborative work with the region, and 80 research labs.
