Police say the suspect turned himself into police in Quebec this morning.

Windsor Police say that a man wanted for the murder of his wife in Toledo,Ohio Friday crossed into Windsor Saturday morning at 9:50am.

Toledo Police say that Katie Sheppard was found murdered in her home and her husband, Kyle J. Sheppard, has been identified as the suspect wanted for her murder.

Sheppard is described as a white male, age 29 years, 5’10”, 185 lbs with short brown hair.  He has been driving a 2010 Jeep Patriot, tan in colour, with Ohio plate EZB 8816.

Police say that it is unknown at this time if Sheppard is armed, however caution should be used if he or his vehicle is located.

The suspect has known ties to the Windsor area and Windsor Police Major Crime Unit detectives have been in contact with those persons.

If anyone has any information regarding the location of Sheppard or his vehicle they are asked to call 911 , Crimestoppers, or the Windsor Police Major Crimes Unit 519-255-6700 ext 4390.
