Windsor Police are currently investigating a stabbing that took place on Windsor’s west side Sunday afternoon.

Police say that a 22-year-old male was cutting through the Forster High School property in the rear parking area, when all of a sudden he felt a sharp pain in his lower back and fell to the ground.

The male victim saw that he was bleeding and walked home which was nearby, and then attended a medical clinic on Huron Church where police were also called.  He was treated for two one inch puncture wounds to his lower back.  The injuries were non life threatening.

The victim said he saw three males running away from the assault and did not hear them approaching since he had earphones in. The only description he could give was two of the males were wearing grey hoodies the other a black hoodie.

Police say the motive is unknown and that it is being followed up by detectives. They ask that anyone saw what occurred or has any information regarding this assault they can contact police or Crime Stoppers.
