Windsor Police have an 18-year-old in custody after they seized computers containing child porn and found two semi-automatic weapons in ‘unsafe’ conditions.

The arrest took place a few weeks ago on Thursday, November 8th at a residence in the 1500 block of Goyeau Avenue. Acting on information, police searched the residence for evidence relating to child sexually exploitative digital videos and images. Computer hardware and peripheral equipment were seized.

Andrew Hornsby was arrested and charged with possession, accessing, and making available child pornography.

Police say that during the search of the residence, two legally owned restricted semi-automatic firearms and assorted ammunition were found to be stored in an unsafe condition. A 38 year old male was identified, arrested, and later released to appear in Court on December 6th. His name is not being released at this time pending his arraignment on two counts of unsafe storage of a firearm.
