On May 15th, Richard Lemmon was found unresponsive and suffering from apparent stab wounds at 123 Marlin in the Countryside Village, a trailer park located behind Walker Road’s Home Depot location. He was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

An extensive investigation by Major Crime Branch and Forensic Unit investigators was undertaken. Detectives conducted multiple interviews and forensic evidence gathered from the scene has been analyzed by the Centre of Forensic Sciences.

On November 15th, police arrested 57 year old Jerry Coad for the murder of Richard Lemmon. Police say that both the victim and accused resided together at the time of the homicide.

He was arraigned today in the Windsor Court of Justice and will be held in custody pending application for a bail hearing.
