A 38-year-old Windsor teacher is facing two counts of Possession of Cocaine after a week-long investigation.

Police say that their investigation began last week after learning information about the male teacher and that on Wednesday he was placed under arrest.  Police say that he had a small amount of cocaine in his possession at the time of arrest, and that a search warrant conducted at his residence led to the seizure of additional suspected cocaine.

He was released on a promise to appear with a November court date.   His name is not being released at this time pending his arraignment in court.

all drugs need to be decriminalized, and regulated. Bring drug use out in the open and spend taxpayers’ money to get police to fight violence in this city, rather than possession of drugs… then take the money that would have been spent fighting against drugs and put programs in place to help people combat their addictions… treat drug use as a DISEASE, not a crime!

If our school teachers can afford to do cocaine then maybe we ought to look at what we’re paying them.
