A new page on Facebook, created by five, 4th year students in the Green Corridor class at the University of Windsor is asking the question: What does Windsor want in its Downtown.

The students are just one of several in the class that have been tasked by their professor Rod Strickland, to come up with ways to change downtown to attract the public back to it.   The Facebook page “What Does Windsor Want” is a part of the research gathering portion of the group’s project.

The page has several ways for Windsorites to offer their opinions. There are pictures to offer comments or suggestions on, you can post your own photos or just offer general feedback on what you want to see.

The page will be updated often and the students will be filtering through the comments to obtain information that will be used for a statistical analysis that they will then use to come up with solid recommendation proposal for the downtown core.

You can check out the Facebook page right here.

The students will also be wandering downtown streets conducting surveys and on-spot interviews.
