This year, The Windsor Scene and Halloween coincide. That must mean mayhem. Or something.

Actually, it means there will be an interview with The Blue Stones. As one of Windsor’s most successful groups prepares to release their second album, they’ll be joining me to talk about their musical journey thus far and what fans can expect from this new album.

I’ll also consider dredging up bits and pieces of last year’s Halloween special with Which Witch. That was an interesting one.

Aside from that, we’ll have the usual information on what you can find in the local music scene this weekend and music to entice you into going. Expect tracks from Toronto’s Cursed Arrows and Windsor’s Menos Mal, among others.

So as you prepare to hand out sugar to small children dressed in sheets, set your radios to CJAM 99.1 FM, Windsor-Detroit’s campus-community radio station between 5 and 6:30. The Windsor Scene also streams online and comes in podcast form, so consider those options as well.
