Global Spectrum and Assumption University will present Northern Ireland’s classical music trio, The Priests, at the WFCU Centre on Friday, December 7th. The multi-platinum singing tenors will make one of two Canadian stops for an evening of harmonious holiday music and other selections from their popular music repertoire.

The group consists of three Roman Catholic Priests: The Reverend Father Eugene O’Hagan, The Reverend Father Martin O’Hagan, as well as The Reverend Father David Delargy. The Irish trio has been performing together on stage since their studies at St. MacNissi’s College in Ireland. The Priests are currently signed with Sony Records, having released three albums since 2008. Highlights of their career include a live recording at St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican, as well as Guinness World Record for fastest selling debut for a classical act. The trio also achieved platinum album sales in Ireland, the United Kingdom, Norway, and Sweden, in addition to gold album sales in New Zealand, Canada, and Spain.

Additional performers for the December 7 Christmas event will include a choral concert with the Windsor-Essex Youth Choir and original compositions from renowned soloist Rosanna Riverso and her newest CD “The Gift of Christmas”.
