Windsor Police are seeking the public assistance in locating a vehicle from a hit and run accident last Saturday.

Police say that just before 8pm last Saturday evening, a 55-year-old male who was using the assistance of a walker was walking East on Foster Avenue on the South sidewalk, with his son-in-law, and they began to cross Walker Road.

As they crossed the roadway a black car, possibly a Dodge Charger or Challenger, made a left hand turn onto Walker Road from westbound Foster, striking the man’s walker causing him to fall to the ground. The vehicle left the scene and travelled south on Walker Road.

The victim was transported to hospital by ambulance complaining of back pain.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding this incident to call 519-255-6700 ext 4212 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 519-258-TIPS (8477)
