Downtown Windsor looked a tad different tonight.
Sidewalks dripped with blood spatter and a few spare body parts were stashed about. Zombies ruled the streets.
All in fun and for a good cause, this family friendly “Zombie Walk” took over Dieppe Park, then wandered, lurched and crawled up Ouellette to Wyandotte and back. Organized by Jakub Wit, it was billed as a night of gruesome fun… and it was.
Over a thousand of Windsor’s creative souls decked out in their bloody finest and joined the march. Windsor’s finest joined in to keep the crowds safe from traffic.
Zombie mom Lori Lynn even arranged a white cube van from Vans LTL Courier to collect canned goods for the mission – and almost every zombie paid up with five cans of food. Well done, zombie-land!
