Windsor Police have made an arrest after a man was stabbed in the back on Ouellette Avenue Thursday evening.

Police responded to a third floor apartment at 1250 Ouellette for a report of a stabbing and located a 43-year-old male with a stab wound to his upper back.

EMS transported the victim to Hotel Dieu where he is listed in serious, but stable condition.

Windsor Police Staff Sergeant Steve Bodri says the suspect, who had fled the area but was later apprehended, is an acquaintance of the victim.

Jordan Runstedler, 26 years of age from Windsor is charged with Aggravated Assault, two counts of Assault with a Weapon, four counts of Breach of Probation, and one count of Threats.
