700 block of Bridge Avenue as seen from Google Maps
Just before 2am Monday morning, Windsor Police were called to a residence in the 700 block of Bridge Avenue for a report of a break and enter in progress. The woman living in the home had locked herself in her bedroom and could hear noises coming from downstairs.
Police arrived and saw a male inside with a bag walking up the stairs. Police also found the rear patio door to the residence open, and entered the residence. They found a male hiding in an upstairs closet and he was then placed under arrest. Police found the bag he was carrying to contain various bottles of alcohol and running shoes, all taken from the residence.
Douglas Serrano, age 25 of Windsor, is charged with Break and Enter.
