Last week we had a great time on The Windsor Scene, interviewing a couple of members from local alt-rock band Vultures? and giving away a pair of tickets to last weekend’s Phog Phest. (Congratulations to Michelle for calling in and winning those!)

The Phest itself was a great time with lots of awesome local talent playing alongside some stellar visiting acts.

This week, we’ll be enjoying the company of another local group; Apecassette! These guys play some interesting punk rock and are gearing up for the release of their second album. During their time on the show we’ll have the chance to hear some unreleased tracks and get the low-down on what we’ve got coming up from this group.

In addition to the interview we’ll be hearing tracks from various other local acts as well, including Magnificent Basterds and The Heat Seeking Moisture Missiles.

The Windsor Scene broadcasts every Wednesday from 5 until 6:30 pm on CJAM 99.1 FM, which also streams online. Afterwards, the episode will be available as an iTunes podcast, which you can subscribe to and have automatically added to your library week after week.
