Windsor Police have a man in custody after a stabbing that took place on the city’s west end.

On Friday September 21st at approximately 11:15pm, Windsor Police were dispatched to a residence in the 1200 block of McEwan in relation to a report of a stabbing.

A female caller indicated she could hear a male screaming that he had been stabbed. Several officers attended the area. Police encountered a male in the rear alley near the residence. The male had blood on his hands and clothes. He was arrested without incident. Officers found a knife in his pocket.

Investigation has revealed that three males were in the rear yard of the McEwan residence. One of the males resided there and the others were guests. The resident went into his home to get something to eat, leaving the other 2 males outside. Suddenly the victim was heard screaming that he had been stabbed.
