    Construction has begun on a new plaza which will see an A&W store built in front of Walker Road’s Canadian Tire.

    AMT Walker Development Corporation is constructing a 140,145 square foot commercial plaza on vacant land that sits on the edge of Walker Road.

    The new plaza will feature 13,587 square foot of landscaped space, 89 parking spots and will house 16,056 square feet of commercial floor area.

    Construction began last week and is expected to take several months to complete.
