Diversion road seen prior to opening
A major stretch of new roadway for local traffic has opened in the Windsor-Essex Parkway corridor.
Two diversion roads (shown in yellow below) and a brand new stretch of raised roadway between Grand Marais and Pulford which forms the new, permanent Highway 3, have replaced the current use of Huron Church Road.
The switchover took place in the early hours of this morning with the help of the Essex County OPP.
