As part of their training and annual qualifications, the Windsor Police K9 Unit attended the USPCA PD1 Regional Trials in Livonia Michigan on July 27th to 29th 2012.
The team has a successful showing and received the following awards:

- 1st Place Agility
- 1st Place Total Searching
- Borris Award For Top Apprehension Score
