Juts after 6am this morning, Windsor Police were called about a suspicious man riding a bicycle in a parking lot in the 2100 block of Parent Avenue. The man was trying to open the doors of cars in the lot.

When police arrived, they found cars in the lot to be secure. Officers conducted a perimeter search of a business adjacent to the lot where they found a “BMX” style bicycle in front of the premises leaning up against the building. Police could see a male inside the premises bending over in the foyer. When the male spotted the police he bolted into the business. It was later found that the man had moved two cases of beer to the foyer.

The male ran out the rear of the business and entered a rear yard in the 900 block of Terminal Avenue.  Police searched the area and found the male in the 2100 block of Wellesley and arrested without incident.

A 22-year-old Windsor Man is expected to appear in court today and is charged with Break and Enter and Possession of Break in Instruments.
