September is Big Brothers Big Sisters month and there is no better way to celebrate then with ice cream!

Celebrate the unofficial final weekend of summer with ice cream from Cold Stone Creamery, who will be donating 15% of all sales from Saturday to Monday to support youth mentoring in our community.

This fundraising event is part of several events that will mark Big Brothers Big Sisters Month which takes place every September. During this month, the agency hopes to serve more children by recruiting new volunteers and to communicate the need for donations to support their vital youth mentoring programs and services.

The proceeds from this event will enable Big Brothers Big Sisters to recruit, screen, train and supervise more adult volunteers, and will help to provide healthy snacks and supplies for the In School Mentoring and Group programs.

The three area locations participating are 3998 Walker Road, 2854 Howard Avenue and 6605 Tecumseh Road East.
