Transit Windsor is extending its hours this weekend in order to meet the back to school rush for student bus passes and tickets.

If you’re getting a bus pass for the first time, you’ll need to purchase it at the Windsor International Transit Terminal or the Transit Centre along with a Photo ID card, a one-time cost of $5.

Student? Renewing a pass? You must update your photo ID each year with a date sticker. The sticker is available at the Windsor International Transit Terminal or Transit Centre at no additional fee. Students must also present valid ID in order to purchase a bus pass.

The sales outlet at Transit Centre located at 3700 North Service Road East at Central will be open for extended hours all this weekend, including Labour Day.

This weekend only, sales hours are:

  • Saturday September 1st from 8am to 4pm
  • Sunday September 2nd from 10am to 4pm
  • Monday September 3rd from 10am to 4pm

The Windsor International Transit Terminal located at 300 Chatham Street West is open seven days a week, from 7am to 9pm.

Transit Windsor tickets and pass renewals are also available at a number of Municipal Customer Care Centres, Shoppers Drug Mart stores, Speedy Money Network and 7-Eleven stores around the city.
