Exterior construction is wrapping up at the future location for Walker Road’s The Lighting Boutique.

The popular Walker/Division store, which has occupied its present location since 1970, will move to the new location at rear when construction is complete in the fall.

The new plaza will feature additional leasing space and the old store will be demolished to make way for a parking lot.

The new spot is valued at $2.1 million dollars and is the 7th most valuable building permit issued in the City of Windsor to date this year.

Buyer beware. Appliance Shoppe would love to have you buy from them and promise the world, but if you have a problem with your appliance, you will get the run around. Essentially, you are left to deal with the manufacturer yourself.

I was referred to the lighting boutique by many friends and family members, and have since been a long time customer and purchased many appliances and lighting fixtures there as well. I have always been treated fairly and will be buying from them again. Keep up the good service! I can’t believe that someone would try to bash them like this – the lighting boutique has been in business for over 30 years, they must be doing someting right!
