Paul Rocheleau, a local tow truck driver was killed last January in a terrible and tragic accident on the side of Highway 3 while trying to help someone change a tire.

People who knew Paul describe him as a caring individual, a loving dad and a carefree person who loved to ride his Harley. Every year he would try to attend a local motorcycle ride, his favourite was Port Dover. Last year Paul and his youngest daughter Angel participated the event and had a blast.

Paul had a love for the environment and animals and for the past several years Paul and his two daughter, Beth and Angel had volunteered at Wings Rehabilitation Centre helping with the care and transportation of the orphaned and injured wildlife.

Wings Rehab plans to honour Paul in a special way so a charity motorcycle ride was created called `Ride On The Wildside.`

The cost is $25.00 for rider and $15.00 for passengers. If you collect $10.00 or more in pledges you ride for free.

The ride will take place on July 22nd at the K of C hall located at 9560 Walker Road. Registration Time is 9:30am and ride kicks off at 11am. Registration Time 9:30 am. Start Time with the Fire Dept. Truck present 11am. A memorial Pasta Dinner takes place later that afternoon at 4pm for $15.00.
