Windsor Police are seeking the public’s help after an attempted purse snatching Sunday evening just after 11pm.

Police say that a 20-year-old was walking home near the intersection of Gladstone and Wyandotte when she was approached by a man who attempted to steal her purse.

The man grabbed her purse and try to pull it away. The woman screamed at the man and he fled on foot North on Gladstone. The woman was not injured during this incident.

The man is described as black, dark complexion, 5’6″, wearing a grey hooded sweater, dark pants (possibly cargo pants with lots of pockets). Police are asking anyone with information regarding this incident to call (519)-255-6700 ext 4830 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at (519)258-TIPS (8477).
