Just after 10pm Sunday evening, a 21-year-old woman was crossing the street at the intersection of Tecumseh and Huron Church when she was side swiped by a car.

The car then fled the scene, but it was followed by a witness into LaSalle then back around east to the 401.

A description of the car was broadcast to OPP who stopped car at Manning and 401. The 45-year-old male driver of the car was found to be impaired.
