A collision Friday morning between an eBike and a car resulted in minor injuries to the bike driver.
Police say that an eBike driven by a 40-year-old male was travelling north along McDougall in the bike lane, and when it reached Shepherd Street a 2002 Chevrolet, which was also travelling north on McDougall, made a right turn not seeing the e-bike which had the right of way travelling through the intersection on a green light and struck him.
The e-bike rider’s leg was slightly injured and he was taken to hospital for precautionary reasons. There was no damage to either vehicle and he 63-year-old male was charged with making an unsafe turn.
