Windsor Police continue to investigate after a 52-year-old male was beaten when he returned home Thursday night. The victim suffered number of lacerations to his face. The victim was transported to Hotel Dieu Hospital where he underwent surgery Friday morning.
Fred’s Farm Fresh has opened the garden center portion of their new location on at 2144 Huron Church Road. Fred’s which has been closed since December of 2010 is still in the finishing stages of the main part of the market, which should be open in the coming weeks.
Windsor’s newest roundabout is just about finished on Plymouth Drive. Plymouth from Grand Marais Road East to Pillette Road has been closed since Wednesday March 7th and was originally planned to be open by the end of April.
As a stop on their We Have A Crisis tour, in support of a soon-to-be-released EP, up-and-coming Toronto electronic group The Killabits made a stop at Windsor’s Boom Boom Room.
Three of Windsor’s BIA’s have gotten new websites over the past few months, in preparation for the busy summer season ahead.
