Windsor Police report that at 7pm Tuesday evening, an arrest was made of the suspect believed to be responsible for a number of robberies in the City of Windsor in recent weeks.  The suspect is believed to be connected to armed robberies at a Mac’s at 295 Strabane, a convenience store at 8151 Wyandotte Street East, a Subway at 2045 Lauzon Road, a convenience store at 3600 Seminole and the Pita Grill in the 2100 block of Wyandotte Street West — all incidents over the past two weeks.

The suspect was arrested without incident by Windsor Police Detectives with the assistance of the Emergency Services Unit while driving a vehicle on Wyandotte Street at Marentette Avenue.

Police say that it is anticipated that the suspect will be facing numerous charges including Robbery, Weapons Offences and Having his Face Disguised.
